Other information: Flavia graduated from Makerere University Kampala in Uganda, where she was a recipient of the Uganda government merit scholarship. She graduated with an upper second class honours degree in Law in 2010. While at Makerere, she was a beneficiary of the Carnegie Quality Assurance Internship which enabled her to qualify for a three months internship at the Uganda Law Society. After University, she joined the Law Development Centre in 2011 to receive a Diploma in Legal Practice. She emerged as the overall best student at the Post Graduate Bar Course and was subsequently awarded the prestigious Chief Justice accolade.

 

After the Post Graduate Bar Course, she joined Deloitte Uganda Limited, a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she worked for three years in the tax department. She was a senior tax associate prior to being awarded the Hodgson Law Scholarship and joining the University of Liverpool. While at the University, she was a student representative on two of her modules. She has a passion for business law and hopes to pursue more of it in practice after completing her Masters. Also being an advocate in Uganda, she hopes to go into commercial litigation.
