Information: Trung was admitted into Liverpool John Moores University to pursue his master degree, honourably sponsored by the Hodgson Law Scholarship in January 2019. The LLM programme gives him the opportunity to round up new knowledge in different engaging disciplines of law while the scholarship award has remarkably encouraged him to live the dream of becoming an international lawyer.

Prior to his academic path in Liverpool, Trung worked for ZICO Law (Vietnam) as a corporate M&A associate where he practised in a wide range of legal work in relation to investment and business law. He holds an LLB from the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam) and is also an active associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). In addition to practice and research, he is passionate about all discourses on his practices of interest such as corporate and financial regulations, M&A and international ADR.

Upon graduation from LJMU, Trung will strive for the GDL as the next step to become a dual qualified solicitor in both the UK and Vietnam. He is working for a law firm in Manchester and assisting some foreign investment projects in Vietnam simultaneously. Once reaching adequate calibre, he aims to build up a bridge between the two legal communities which may inspire more young potential lawyers to pursue their dreams.
